Prior to surgery of any type, patients should inquire well about it and ask all the questions they have and get all the answers they need to feel comfortable about it and make a wise and decisive choice of going under the knife.

Juliana, along with J-Med’s nurses and doctors start by building the patient’s confidence by explaining all the aspects of the operation, in great details, going over each step of the procedure, detailing all possible feelings and side effects the patient may have, the risks involved, the expected recovery time, the necessary steps and routines required to achieve a great result, and any other question or inquiry the patient may have.

The team also makes sure patients are fully informed about the history and records of their doctors, surgeons, nurses, and medical facility. All necessary admission procedures, including the consent documents to sign, are shared with the patients prior to their booking and arrival to Lebanon.

When choosing your doctor, you should make sure he/she is registered in the proper organizations, certified by them, and compliant with international laws and standards governing plastic surgery. At J-Med Consult, all our doctors are registered in LSPRAS (Lebanese Society of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery), members of the LOP (Lebanese Order of Physicians), board certified, and members of good standing in key professional societies. They all carry high end insurance as well, which is required by hospitals in Lebanon.

They all undergo a rigorous screening and interviewing process, and all their records are checked prior to their acceptance into our exclusive network, to make sure they have the right and are licensed to practice in Lebanon, and that there are no prior or pending actions against them, and most importantly, that their client feedback is excellent.

Consistency of excellent results and Mastery of their specialty trade are crucial and imperative for us. We select our doctors on a “per niche” basis, taking into consideration their experience, track record, previous results, personality traits, work ethics, and after surgery patient care. They all have forthright in listening to and addressing your concerns, questions, and goals. They are all experts, clear, concise, organized, attentive, and they keep checking up on you even after the surgery has long passed. All our doctors have already performed the procedure you are considering many times and can even share photographs of the achieved results (patient discretion applies).

All the medical facilities we partner with, are fully licensed, accredited, and compliant with international laws and standards. Only qualified medical professionals are allowed inside the OR, to prep, administer anesthesia, operate, or perform any other medical procedure.

We only operate in Specified Operation Rooms within the medical facilities we partner with, where only plastic and clean surgeries are conducted. Operation Rooms where surgical cases involving sources of infection or disease (hemorrhoids, gold bladder, appendix, etc.), are restricted by us, and are not a usable option, leaving therefore no room for bacterial contamination to propagate. This explains our rate of post-Operative infections, which is practically inexistent.

In Lebanon, patients can have the operation the next day if they want, provided they successfully pass all the pre-surgery medical tests. Our doctors require a thorough health screening and evaluation prior to any treatment or surgery. Any physical or emotional health conditions you might have should be shared with us, addressed, detailed, and taken into consideration before attempting any surgery. No patient will go into the Operation Room unless cleared by our internal medicine doctor, and all their tests were passed successfully.

Once all your questions are answered by our team, all your medical tests are passed, all other surgery requirements are met and settled, and you are ready to take the decision, you just have to contact Juliana and the team and book your surgery and stay. They will be your A-to-Z contact from hospital and medical center bookings to surgery bookings and payment settlements. They even recommend and help you book your flights, your hotel, your taxis, as well as your entertainment, touristic tours, and activities. They will also provide you with a detailed itinerary with a fee breakdown of cost of surgery, operating room, anesthesia, plane tickets, taxis, hotel rooms, tours, activities, and any other fee you might have to settle.

Successful surgery includes follow up on D-Day and constant checking on your healing and recovery post-op. From the minute your plane touches down in Lebanon, to your admission into the hospital, to your post-op recovery, up until leaving the country fully recovered, Juliana and the team will be present along your side each step of the way, constantly checking up on you and catering to your needs and following-up on your surgery process.
